Lightsmark simulates the global illumination, almost without limits: before, the process of locating the lights in real time was limited to small scenes, low resolution, poor speed and specially armed images with improvements made by hand.
Lightsmark eliminates these restrictions, and it can be executed in a reasonably big scene (220000 triangles), in high-resolution (1680x1050) and to an excellent speed (100-400 fps).
Although the current computers are more efficient, the possibility to draw more polygons in three dimensions is not useful if the illumination shines artificial.
The experts in design know that the secret of a good image is the correct illumination, effect also known as global illumination in real time. The natural light makes the artificial graphics to seem real.
However, the consumption of resources of this type of task makes increase the workload and as a consequence the process could delay too much.
