MediaPortal
MediaPortal is an application that gives us multimedia entertainment from our computer. You can watch TV, videos and listen to music in an easy and simple way.
Besides being a program that plays audio, music, video and photos, MediaPortal offers to users the ability to have access to television channels online, radio, podcast and more.
We will have a real multimedia center in our hands.
MediaPortal categorizes each computer file depending on each media's roll, facilitating to find and play them directly from user's window.
The program is divided into four main functions:
"My Pictures": Here we can access with just one click to all images stored in our computer, capture screens, digital photos, scanned images and any other similar files. We can see all the pictures like a slide show.
"My Music": to have easy access to all our audio files and to play them directly with MediaPortal is possible, through the user interface that combines all the advanced features of the media players formerly known.
"My Videos": In this sessions program we can play and create lists organized by our videos category. It's possible to play videos in HD (High Definition) in a very simple way.
"My Weather": Ability to recompile real-time information about the weather in our city or region from the user's window.
MediaPortal is helping very much those users who wish to have a HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computer) at home.
