Nexuiz
Nexuiz is a shoot-playing game in first person, free and open source, which can run on Windows, Linux and OSX. Aim and shoot.
Extreme action in three dimensions, the game is “to kill or die” at the speed you can imagine, with the most lethal weapons. Nexuiz has several modes of play: to eliminate the enemy team, capture their flag or subdue the opponent. Each player can fight on an individual basis, advancing by up to complete missions over 20 levels, or participate in a team, along with other online users through the web server.
Nexuiz is based on the engine Darkplaces, built with OpenGL technology, compatible with Quake3bsp, and includes features like play of light and shadows in real time, new particle effects, advanced menu and support for the model MD3.
The development team Nexuiz is always willing to accept the help and participation of programmers online, who want to work with the levels of design, model, or coding. If you have any of these skills, you can be part of this exciting project.
