How to clean and to defragment the registry of Windows with TuneUp

Instructions

1. Dou you have already installed TuneUp Utilities? If you have not still download it, you can do it right know without cost getting in our website.

After this, install it following the instructions of the assistant who will guide to you during that process.

2. To open TuneUp Utilities, go to Start, All the programs, TuneUp Utilities

3. The initial window of this application will be opened and here it will be showed the different options for maintenance tasks to make in our computer.

Our intention is to optimize the register of Windows. First of all, we will clean the obsolete entrance and the unnecessary elements. To make this select Order and Repair, TuneUp RegistryCleaner

4. It will appear a welcome window. If you prefer to deactivate it for not appearing in the feature, then go and take out the tilde where says Show this dialog every starting time. Press Next to continue.

5. Next, you will see another welcome scream where you will need to select the verification stile that you want to execute with the RegistryCleaner of TuneUp module.

In this example, we want to realize a complete verification, so we would select this option. If you prefer to make the verifications only in particular folders then choose the option Selection of Verification. Press Next button.

6. It will appear a verification progress window. Wait for a few minutes and once the process is finished press the Indicate Failures.

9. While the clearing is made, the progress would be showed in a task bar.

10. Once the cleaning process has finished, you will see an information window. There and according to the kind of repair already done you would have the possibility of making a new verification. This is because once you have solved some problems; some others that could not be detected in the previous verification could arise now.

If this is the case, and you want to return to verify the system, press Repeat Verification and the previous steps will be repeated, until arriving at the informative screen that indicates that no longer there are more detected problems.

1. Now we are going to defragment the register data base and to do this we will select Optimize and Improve, TuneUp RegistryDefrag

Next, you will see a welcome screen that summarizes the actions that can make the module RegistryDefrag de TuneUp. It presses Following to continue.

12. Next, you will see a welcome screen that summarized the actions that RegistryDefrag of TuneUp module can make. Press Next to continue.

13. If you have applications in execution, then TuneUp will show you a warning window asking you for close them all, Finish the processes in execution (do not forget to save the changes) and press Accept button.

14. Next the process of analyzing the register data base will be initiate. Wait a few minutes until it finalizes.

15. When the analysis finishes, it will appear a message warning that you must restart the computer for an optimization

If you are agree press Yes.

16. Once you restart your computer, Tune-Up will defragment the register optimizing the operation. If the process finalize correctly, a new window saying that the defragmentation process is completed will appear

Press Accept and you have already made the registry of Windows maintenance.
