It is often necessary to deactivate System Restore on our Windows XP or Windows ME. Here you have the steps do do that.
1.Right Click on Computer (on desktop) and select Properties.
2.Click the System Restore tab.
3.Checkpoint Deactivate System Restore and then click on Apply. Select Yes for the message on the next window.
4. Click on Accept and restart.
